OSU Bard in the Quad Presents: A Midsummer Night's Dream

AUDITIONS:
This summer, Bard in the Quad will present Shakespeare’s beloved romantic comedy, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. This production will feature live music, dance, as we tell one of the Bard's most popular comedies under the stars! It will be a summer to remember!
Auditions are open to all OSU students, staff, and faculty and all community members and will consist of cold readings and movement exercises. Performance dates for A Midsummer Night’s Dream are August 6-9 and 13-16. Rehearsals will begin with a read through on June 14. Generally, they will be scheduled Sunday-Thursday 5:00-9:00 pm until tech week (August 2-5) when they will shift call time. Tech will begin at 9 am August 1. All cast members must be available to attend all tech rehearsals, performance, and strike for the production. (Certain conflicts can be worked around during the early rehearsal process – please bring your schedule to the audition.)
Casting for a company of 12-14 players. Full text versions of A Midsummer Night’s Dream are available to read on-line or can be found in any Shakespeare anthology.
